Q. Can I use HDCVI Cameras with EVO ?

A. We have tested Dahua HDCVI cameras connected to a Dahua HDCVI recorder. The recorder works in the same manner as an analogue encoder and we have successfully configured both video as well as basic PTZ control through Luxriot Custom Video Device setup. providing your HDCVI recorder has a built in RTSP video streaming service then its a simple task to add this video to EVO.

Q. Does EVO Time Sync my cameras ?

A. EVO does not automatically update internal clocks in cameras and video devices. You can though configure Windows to act as a time server and set your video devices and cameras to synchronize their internal clocks to your server clock. Please refer to this article on our main Videcom site. Time synchronisation is maintained across EVO Global servers.
